    Senior executive who bears responsibility on behalf of DHG for fostering value creation from its data assets and from external data ecosystems. Provides leadership necessary to ensure that DHG can leverage data to drive better business outcomes for the firm and for our external clients. As a transformational leader for a data-driven enterprise, the CDO will be expected to deliver quantifiable business value by influencing the organizational culture to put data at the center of the business model. This person will lead data and analytics strategy and practice, with an initial focus on agreed, strategic data and analytics use cases and then broadening these use cases over time. Deliver insights to the firm to improve decision making and generate incremental value. Works collaboratively with a collection of decentralized teams distributed throughout the firm to create data solutions that are market facing for our client base.


    • Govern, steward, integrate, analyze and report data.
    • Govern, steward, model, develop and innovate with analytics and decision models by service line, operations team or industry.
    • Strike a balance between centralized (collaborative) and decentralized (aligned) teams.
    • Align data and analytics governance policy and administration with relevant regulatory, legal and ethical mandates
    • Treat and manage information as an asset
    • Lead firm to become more evidence-based in the firm’s decision-making processes
    • Improve the data literacy levels of DHG’s staff
    • Focus on networking within the firm’s business units to better understand how to collaborate
    • Accelerate analytics opportunities
    • Chief Data “Evangelist”
    • Champion data analytics education
    • Support Data Science and Analytics Lab committees and pilots
    • Grow and facilitate the discipline of master data management for the firm
    • Manage R&D Pipeline, process and ROI measurement for analytics solutions and models under development
    • Occasionally provide operational support and consultations for other technology departments and efforts



    • Proven work experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Analyst or similar role preferred
    • In-depth understanding of database structure principles is required
    • Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements is required
    • Knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques is required
    • Expertise in SQL and MS Excel is required
    • Familiarity with data visualization tools is preferred
    • Proven analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude
    • BSc in Computer Science or relevant field
    • Ability to establish priorities, manage deadlines, exercise a high degree of professionalism in interactions with all levels of internal
    • and external clients.
    • Accounting firm or financial Industry experience preferred
    • Experience with Azure cloud services is preferred
