    Our Enterprise Intelligence sector of Healthcare is seeking a Data Programmer who will work directly with partners/directors/managers of the DHG Healthcare Team. The strength of our Enterprise Intelligence group is providing data driven solutions to strategic questions.

    • Assist in developing, designing, documenting, and maintaining complex data mappings for analytics projects
    • Assist in the design and development of standard analytical deliverables and managing these deliverables
    • Establish and promote a consistent set of Business Intelligence skills, standards, and best practices
    • Extensive work on a daily basis in various software programs, internet research, and independent work production
    • Communicate analytic process, including methodology and assumptions, clearly and effectively to project stakeholders
    • Develop project plans and track project deliverables to ensure that the projects are completed within budget, schedule, and quality standards
    • Define project tasks and resource requirements to achieve optimal utilization of resources
    • Manage multiple projects and be responsible for the execution from initiation to completion
    • Manage the risks that affect the delivery of the project outcome
    • Present reports and project updates to stakeholders on a regular basis
    • Implement process improvements to reduce development time and assist in the integration of complex business factors to implement long-term strategic planning objectives
    • Be familiar with industry best practices and integrate them into the application solutions
    • Integrate with IT when needed





    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent is required
    • Advanced degree in similar discipline preferred

    • 5+ years of data analytics and programming experience required

    • Experience with SAS analytical software and/or other analytical software tools required
    • Experience within the healthcare industry required
    • Healthcare data analysis experience; expertise with large data sets required
    • Experience with healthcare claims data preferred

    • Proven problem solving expertise required
    • Proficiency with MS office tools, specifically Excel and Access required
    • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and organization skills required
    • Ability to work independently and with a team preferred
