    Responsibilities

    • Assist with valuations of ownership interests, intangible assets, and other financial instruments of private and public companies for purposes of gift and estate taxes, buy-sell agreements, ESOPs, mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, litigation and divorce matters
    • Assist business, accounting, financial, fraud and valuation aspects of a wide variety of forensic matters involving corporate investigations, complex commercial litigation, financial damages calculations, and divorce litigation
    • Manage engagements ensuring that projects are completed with quality in an efficient and timely manner
    • Lead delivery teams helping clients to drive innovative strategies to improve business performance and manage risk
    • Delegates work to Staff according to their experience and capabilities
    • Review the work of Staff, providing mentoring and performance reviews
    • Develop business by expanding existing relationships with clients, maintaining personal networks, and participating in civic, business, and professional organizations

    Qualifications

    • 4-10 years of valuation, litigation support, and forensic experience with a litigation firm or accounting firm required
    • Experience with data analytics is highly preferred
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics required; Master’s degree preferred
    • Extraordinary communication and negotiation skills required
    • Solid understanding of the legal field and litigation procedures preferred
    • Strong skills in research, writing, and in general accounting preferred
    • Ability to work on multiple engagements required
    • Supervisory experience required
    • Strong writing and presentation skills required
    • Strong technical skills including MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint and data analytics skills required
    • Valuation and/or forensics credentials, or pursuit of such credentials, preferred (CPA/ABV/CFF, CFA, ASA, CVA, CFE, MAFF)
